retractable cylinder piston rod material selection and technical requirements: (I), because there is no special requirements, so use 45 steel as the piston rod material, the design of the piston rod only withstand pressure stress, so no modulation processing; (ii) The coaxial tolerance of the shaft journal and the outer circle of the mounting piston is not greater than 0.01mm, so as to ensure the coaxial degree of the outer circle of the piston rod and the outer circle of the piston, and avoid the stuck phenomenon of the piston and the retractable cylinder, the piston rod and the guide. The vertical tolerance between the end face of the mounting piston and the axis of the piston rod is not more than 0.04mm/100mm to ensure that the piston installation does not produce skew; (iii) The outer circle of the piston rod should pay attention to the roughness; (iv) Because it is operated under low load conditions, surface treatment is omitted.

In use, the retractable cylinder should try to avoid the friction iron powder or iron filings formed by buffering the plunger. When the matching gap of the buffer device is small and the transverse load on the piston rod is large, the sintering phenomenon may be caused. These friction iron powder or the metal fragments that have fallen off as a result of sintering will remain in the retractable cylinder.

After chrome plating of the piston rod of the retractable cylinder, the surface flatness is not fully treated: After chrome plating of the piston rod surface, the method of post-plating polishing should be changed to post-plating polishing. Although it is necessary to increase the thickness of the coating before grinding (generally increased by about 0.02 in the diameter direction), it can remove chrome plating defects well, and test the binding force of the coating. In addition, due to the micro-roughness of the grinding surface, the trough can store lubricating oil, which can improve the wear resistance and extend the service life.
